CELTIC, Central Gaul. Bituriges Cubi. Circa 80-50 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 6.84 g, 2 h), Abucatos. Celticized male head to left with thick and prominent curls. Rev. ABVCATOS Celticized horse galloping left; on its back, eagle standing facing with wings spread and head to left; below, three pellets-in-annulets. DT 3457. LT 4173. SLM -. Beautifully toned. A few deliberately uncleaned deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
